Art Show Held to Celebrate Chongyang Festival in Lhasa, Tibet

An art show, presented by senior artists from various elderly troupes in Tibet, was held in Lhasa on Monday to celebrate the Chongyang Festival or the Double Ninth Festival for the elders. The festival, celebrated throughout China on the ninth day of the ninth month on the Chinese lunar calendar, is an occasion to care for and send blessings to the elderly.
